Does Adenoidectomy Cause Any Side Effects In A Child?

Hi Doctor, My girl child is 9 years and one month old. From last one year she is suffering from frequent cold and fever and infection in the years. It is diagnosed that adenoids are bigger and needs a surgery to remove them. Can you please suggest if we can get adenoidectomy done? Will the child has any side effects after the surgery?

first give medical treatment and see that it is controlled. it can be controlled by treatment. if after prolong treatment it is causing respiratory obstruction then surgery should be last resort.
