Does A Steroid Shot In The Middle Of A Dose Pak Hurt Me?
I was three days into a seven day steroid dose pak from a trip to the emergency room this weekend. Saw my primary for a follow up today and he gave me a steroid shot and another 7 day dose pak to start when I finish the first one. I think he didn t understand I was on a dose pak when he gave me the prescription or the shot. Will a steroid shot in the middle of a dose pak hurt me. Why the second 7day pak? How will all this steroid affect my adrenal glands. This stuff is serious and could cause death

Yes, if you take a second therapy for 7 days it may block your adrenal gland function and cause adrenal failure. Talk to your physician again before starting it.
