Does A Prolapsing Polyp In Colon Cause Recurring Dizziness And Nausea?
I HAVE A PROLAPSE POLYP IN MY COLON AND WILL BE DOING A SECOND SCOPE IN OCTOBER FIRST SCOPE SHOWED IT TO NOT BE CANCER, IT IS IN AN AREA WHERE I HAVE DIVERTICULITUS. I AM EXPERIENCING INTERMITTENT DIZZYNESS AND NAUSEA. cOULD THE POLYIP CAUSE THIS, ALSO I HAVE LOW ENERGY.
It is not likely that the polyp is contributing to these symptoms unless you are experiencing blood loos. Blood loss can be occult (hidden, not easily seen in the stool) and persistent loss would cause anemia which can then cause dizziness, not so commonly nausea.
It may be best to see your doctor if the symptoms continue to look for another cause. Dizziness and nausea can sometimes be linked to inner ear disease so an assessment by your doctor or an ENT specialist may be helpful for you.
I hope this helps
