Hi! My start period date for my previous was 5 january 2014 and recently, I got married on 1 february and ever since, I havent gotten any period yet. My cycle is about 48 days. Could I be pregnant? I tested using UPT thrice and they all came out negative.. Or did i test too early?
Hello and welcome to HCM, A urine pregnancy test becomes positive 10-15 days after conception. A negative pregnancy test rules out pregnancy. As you have mentioned that you have long menstrual cycles of around 48 days, you can wait for few more days. However, if the periods are still delayed, you need to consult your gynecologist for investigations. Hormonal imbalance is most common cause of menstrual irregularities. Irregular menstrual cycles are common in healthy females. However, if cycles are irregularly irregular, you definitely need to consult your gynecologist.
