Does A Bruise Cause Swelling And Inflammation On The Finger?
My knuckles on the base of my left hand ring and baby finger are swollen and warm to the touch. I don t know how it happened; however, it has been swelling more all day. It throbs. Is it bruised? broken? We are wondering if I should wait to have it looked at because it may go down. Thank you

It can be some minor contusion and secondary inflammation. Fracture is very unlikely. You can consult an orthopedic and get evaluated. As of now you can take analgesics like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac for pain relief. Wishing you good health.
