General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Prolonged use of Vicodin causes excessive sleepiness and fatigue. You might feel excessive tiredness also. It is common with Vicodin and other related drugs like gabapentin. If you can not tolerate the side effects you can switch to alternatives like NSAID. Consult a physician for expert opinion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
