Does Utrogestan Help In Relieving Pregnancy Symptoms?

Hi I m currently On utrogestan 100 mg 2 x daily orally , as I have had a miscarriage before however I m 5 weeks at the moment what I d like to knOw is can utrogestAn cause my pregnancy symptoms to disappear I have been nauseas and had extremely sore breast from the Time I have found Out I m expecting at 4 weeks in the last 3 days my symptoms have seem to have taken a walk somewhere is this normal I m extreamly worried

HI,
I can understand your concern.
* Actually Utrogestan is a hormone (progesteron) supports fetus & is given to you to prevent an episode of abortion this time.And pregnancy usually proceeds normally when this drug is given in case of a confirmed pregnancy with previous abortions.
* It does not have any effect of relieving pregnancy symptoms. But in some ladies the symptoms of pregnancy are absent/decrease after few weeks.
* your concern/psychological tension /fear may reflect in feeling less symptoms.
I would advise to get Blood HCG level checked/ pelvic USG scan after one more week to satisfy your self.
