Does Tylenol Interact With Hydrochlorothiazide And Triamterene, Prednisone And Fosamax?

I went to dr with pounding heart pain - very painful. But it only comes after eating. She gave me xanax which has stopped it, but asked me to switch from ibuprofen 200 mg to tylenol (500?). I am also now taking hcltz/triamterene, prednisone 5 mg, thyroid, recently weekly Fosamax. Is 500 mg tylenol good for me with all the other drugs?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Yes, its very right to switch from Brufen to Tylenol because Brufen can cause stomach problems.

Tylenol is very safe both for your stomach and also it does not interact with any of your drugs.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
