Hi,

Travatan Ophthalmic Solution contains travoprost which belongs to the group of medications known as prostaglandin analogue is used to reduce pressure in the eyes in adults with glaucoma and high pressure in the eye. It works by increasing the flow of fluid from inside the eye into the bloodstream thereby lowering the increased eye pressure. If the pressure in the eye is too high, it can damage someone's sight. Take it regularly as prescribed by the doctor.

If someone stops taking it, the pressure in the eye will not be controlled. Follow the instructions given by the prescribing doctor and use medicine regularly to get the most benefit. If someone's vision is blurred or someone has other changes in sight for a time, he should not drive until the vision is clear. This is usually a short term side effect.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
