Does Tramadol Effectively Relieve Chronic Back Pain?

I have just been prescribed tramadol 50mg from the pain clinic I have had cronic back pain for 30 years at the moment I take two paracetamol and two dihiracodine three times a day and been on this dosage long term am I likely to get better pain relief with tramadol

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have chronic back pain. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like muscle or ligament strain , bulging or ruptured disks , arthritis , skeletal irregularities or osteoporosis . I would suggest you to take your medicine as per prescription . Tramadol will be effective in relieving back pain . Along with that apply warm compresses on back thrice a day or go for physical therapy . Also take multivitamin supplement for some days for quick healing . Take proper rest . If condition doesn't get well then consult orthopedic surgeon again for proper checkup and treatment .

Hi,
Tramadol tablet is better medicine for having this type of musculao-skelaton pain.
It gives temporary relief from pain.
Take with omeprazole or rantac to prevent gastric irritation.
Important to know cause of having chronic back pain.
Get it diagnosed and go proper treatment of problem.
