Does Plaquenil Cause A Nose Bleed?
I have been taking Plaquenil for about ten days for rheumatoid arthritis and today had a very bad nosebleed for about 30 minutes. I stuffed my nose with Kleenex and put ice on my face to finally stop the bleeding. Is this a side effect of the Plaquenil? Also I understand it may cause damage to the retina? True or not?

Plaquenil can cause a nosebleed. This side effect doesn't happen very often. In this case, I would suggest you do a complete blood count for further evaluation.
