Does Oxybutynin Cause Constipation In A Person With Hyperhidrosis?

I have hyperhidrosis and I am thinking of starting on oxybutynin for the disorder. I noticed that a side effect is constipation, but my system is really sensitive (going from constipation to diarrhea) and I take Miralax once a day for it. What are my chances of having a problem?

Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern.
Oxybutynin is an anticholinergic drug and all anticholinergic causes dry mouth, blurred vision, Constipation and urinary retention.
However the most common is dry mouth. Other effects are dose related.
I would like to advise to drink plenty of water at least 10-12 glasses of water per day. Do regular aerobic excersize thirty minute a day five times a week. Include fruits, vegetables in your diet. Start Aspaghol husk; put one sachet in one glass of water and drink it both in morning and evening.
Hope you will not develop constipation.
Take your best care.
