Does Ofloxacin Prescribed For UTI Post IUI Treatment Affects Conception?
Hi. I am 30 years old female. I had my IUI 3 days back and since yesterday I feel I have UTI. I used to get UTI after any natural intercourse and every time I used to treat it with Ofloxacin 200 mg. So my question is: does Ofloxacin interfere in Conception? Please reply.

Hello,
Ofloxacin is not recommended if you are trying for conception. Though it is still in research if it can affect human fetus & cause toxicity. However, it is known to cause lesions and damage articular cartilage of animals. Factors that affect conception are obesity, genetics, age, sexual history and addictions like smoking & alcohol.
