Hi I am Dr Mittal. I have read your message. The fact remains that the hair loss is due to minoxidil stopping. It is usually categorically mentioned on drug pamphlet that on stopping minoxidil there is a hair loss. This hair loss is usually maximum in the first 3 months after stopping. Second, finasteride 1 mg is usually effective, especially with minoxidil. However, if you do not want to take it, its fine. Just let your treating doctor know on the follow up visit. As for the effect of the remaining medicines, the action will be less significant. I have tried to answer it as simply as possible. Best of luck, Dr Mittal
