Hi

Side effects such as diarrhoea, bloating, gas, and abdominal pain can occur with Lanreotide. It is difficult to tell if these are related to the medication or the disease. If these occur, they typically stop within 1-4 days of the injection and decrease with long-term treatment.Any presence of blood should be ruled out since diarrhoea has been mentioned as pink in colour. Meanwhile proton pump inhibitors can be used.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
