Ibruvica (ibrutinib) may not directly interfere with rotator cuff healing. There are two things that needs to be kept in mind that can have an effect on healing of rotator cuff injury.
1) Ibrutinib can cause immunosuppression; any infections and decreased immunity can delay healing
2) Ibrutinib causes musculoskeletal pain; this can cause mobility issues of the joint; can affect physiotherapy for your patient and in turn affect the healing of the rotator cuff injury.
I hope the above information helps you in understanding how Ibruvica can affect your patient's healing of rotator cuff injury. Thanks for writing into healthcaremagic. Have a nice day.
