Does Glimepiride Cause Body Ache?
Can Glimepiride make a person ache, especially if increasing the dose. My mother s doctor told me to increase her glimperide from 2 mg by 1 mg daily in morning if her BS was higher than 180. Fasting BS was to be closer to 110. She is now taking 4 mg in morning along with 500 mg metformin ER. at supper she takes metformin ER If it s high I am to give her another glimperide 1 mg with water. Does this make sense to you?

The treatment strategy is fine. But what worries me is her blood sugar levels (bsl). They are running down so glimepiride should be reduced.
Hypoglycemia might happen explaining her body aches.
