Does Flecainide Interact With Imitrex?
I am a nursing and I am seeing a new mom whose baby had cardiac surgery after birth because her pulmonary veins were not attached to her heart. She is getting breast milk and taking Flecainide and mother wants to know if she takes Imitrex for migraines will that interact with baby s medication.

These two medications can be taken together since there is no scientific evidence that some interactions or serious side effects exist. SO if there is medical indication then it can be taken just be sure to take it in recommended dosage. Also, you must be sure that you are not allergic to any ingredient of these drugs. If you start to feel any signs such as breathing difficulties or rash, you should stop medications and see a doctor.
