Does DTP Vaccination Site Swelling And Hardening Need Medical Attention?
Hi doctor...we have taken DTP painless vaccination for our daughter yesterday evening.she has completed 20month..weight 13.3kg..height 86cm..Now she has got slight swelling(rigid)in the injection site with rise of temperature in that particular area...is this normal or do we have to show this to the doctor.kindly give your suggestion.

you neednot worry about the pain and swelling. its absolutely normal to have slight pain and swelling although it is less common with the painless vaccine. you can give your baby pcm syp 7ml once or twice and cold fomentation . really there is no need to see a doctor as of now.
