Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 63, unmarried; my son age 34 and his son age 8 live me. my son is an addict and of course irresponsible which leaves me as the main one raising his son. The Mom and child have somewhat of a relationship, closer in the last six months only now she is incarcerated. My PCP prescribed Cymbalta for my depression several weeks ago. Cant sleep, stomach pains, feeling worse taking it. Can you suggest an antidepressant?
The advice of antidepressant is beyond the scope of online consultation.
Additional guidelines above the Cymbalta intake
- Control your blood sugar, blood pressure levels.
- Regular walking, exercises, deep breathing and meditations.
- Change of mind perception to the existing realities would be the main line of action badly needed in your case.
In our clinic, we recommend counselling sessions with an expert psychologist for better results.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
