Does Cipro Cause Severe Stomach Ache?
Hi - i was prescribed Cipro 500 2x day for 10 days for a UTI. It caused awful stomach pain, and i stopped taking after 5 days. I know i shouldnt have, but was miserable. Nits been 3 days, stomach slightly better, but still feel outta sorts. Is this normal for Cipro side effects?

Ciprofloxacin can cause nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, loose motions as its side effects.
You are advised to consult your treating doctor to review the treatment and to use an alternate antibiotic instead of Ciprofloxacin for the treatment of UTI.
