Does Aczone Help In Long Term Treatment Of Acne Problem?

Yes, Hi. I was reading about Aczone. My daughter is 23 and has struggled with acne since she was a young teen. She has tried countless products and seen several dermatologists. Nothing helps or if it does it is very short term. What do you know about Aczone? Is it a new drug?

Hello,

Aczone does not show promising results. You can try clindamycin lotion (clinsin is a popular brand) for faster recovery.

Steam bath to face can help to open up sebaceous duct opening and help to clear pimples.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
