Does 7 Weeks Delay In Menstruation And Spotting Indicate Pregnancy?

Hi. i'm 24 and am currently about 7-8 weeks late on my period. I have taken 3 home pregnancy tests, the last one a week ago, and these have all been negative. I did have spotting about 4 weeks ago but no period. I am very concerned as I am in no position to bring up a child if I am pregnant yet my dr doesn't seem to be taking my concerns seriously and I can't get any answers. Any advice?

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion as the pregnancy tests are negative there is no chance of pregnancy.The delay might be due to some other cause.There are various causes of delayed periods like stress,overweight, thyroid hormone abnormalities or pcod etc.So they need to be evaluated.Avoid stress if any.
