Do Weight Loss Supplements Cause Elevation In The Liver Enzymes Levels?

Recently I started medifast diet program, taking there supplements, plus my own fiber, ending up with severe stomach pain, dr did liver panel and alt came back slightly elevated, I m not much of a drinker, only on weekends will I have a beer or 2 or wine, could these supplements have caused this elevation?

An “all-natural” herbal product might sound like it’s good for your health, but some common ones, like green tea extract and comfrey tea, can cause injury to your liver — the organ that breaks down medications.

So we don't know correct cause it may be due to alcohol or Viral hepatitis.
