Do Throat Pain And Dizziness When Exposed To Black Mold Require Medical Attention?

recently I had 2 different scripts for antibiotics one was generic for Keflex not sure what the other one was. one was for a cyst on my forehead that was giving me bad headaches the Keflex was for a throat infection where I was spitting blood. now just a short time later I complained to my doctor that my throat was soar again. she referd me to a e.n.t. doctor they set me up with a appt. for a scope. that is not for another week. now I am experiencing a lot more pain in my throat, trouble swallowing ,a hoarse voice, loss of balance or dizziness, throat and tongue feel a bit swollen. also I discovered black mold in the humidifier at work . should I continue to wait for my appt. on 4/28/16

Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the throat pain and dizziness indicates underlying viemia or bacteremia responsible for inflammatory response via cytokines of the immune system. The ofloxacin is not that much effective against such clinical issues as compared to macrolies as azithromycin or combination of amoxicillin with clavulanic acid due to multiple reasons.

Till you approach with your ENT specialist, I strongly recommend to get prescription of another best antibiotic to prevent further progress of the infection to lower respiratory tract. At home, gargles with salted lukewarm water, added peppermint oil, turmeric powder in skimmed milk help great deal via its ayurvedic properties.
