Do The Reduced Turbinates Enlarge After A Turbinate Reduction Surgery?
I had a Septoplasty and Turbinate Reduction surgery 4 months ago. During that surgery, both infected maxillary sinuses have been also cleaned completely. After the surgery , I was able to feel that my sinuses are very very clean. 3 weeks later, that sensation disappeared. My questions are: 1- what is the reason/s of disappearing of that sensation? 2- does that mean the reduced turbinates have enlarged again?Shall I have CT scan in order to check this matter? 3- any suggestion or idea * Notice: after the surgery, my surgeon has prescribed (Sinomarin Hypertonic Sea Water Spray). I still use it but I do not think it is so effective in rinsing my sinuses.
