Do Spots On The Lung Post Lobectomy Indicate Lung Cancer?
my wife had part of lower lung removed 4 years since then 100% clear, now doctor found 2 mic spots on out side (fuzzy looking)..she has had second ct scan 8 weeks later to see if spots are bigger or muliplyed...but she did have a bad cold before first test....we have to see the doctor in one week....just wondering what the chances are the cancer has come back....she is 63 and still smokes...thxs
As the smoking is continuous, there are all high chances of the lung spots to be of cancer. However, a lung biopsy is essential for the final diagnosis and curative guidelines accordingly.
