Do My Child Have Autisim ?

My 4 yr old son, from his birth used to reach his milestones in advance. When he was baby we found really hard to put him to sleep, he never want to shut his eyes, always curious to explore, would wake up even for a mild sound. when he was 1 yr - 2 yrs he gained some words, showed lots of interests on shapes, colors, alphabets and a great crunch for numbers. he used to be very curious and high exploring nature.I used to run out of energy.Even a 5 min walk would take 30 min as he would be observing each and everything in detail on his path(leaves, mud, stones, the shapes in gates etc all by himself without our prompt) when all kids of his age are playing he would look for letters in the hoarding boards and number plates and spell out loud. But after 2 yrs we had bit concern when he wasnt talking sentences though he had good vocabulary but thought kids would learn at their own pace and our doctor too said he is kinda mathematical boy who might pick up communication later like einstein. To add complexity he was growing in an environment of 3 different languages spoken. He has good creativity, imagination.he can build train, trucks using cardboard boxes or anything that he would like to make it upon.He had good liking on music too, he sits and listen to street musicians playing violin or flute.but our concern grew when he started his kindergarten. We came to know that he is not having eyecontact with teachers, not interested in kids and not listening to their instructions,At present we are in switzerland and have put him in an international school hoping that he would be given good education.but within a week of joining they said he is absentminded boy and doesnt listen to their stories read/insructions, and they felt he will not be able to cope up in next level or next yr(even though he knew things above his level and we talked to teachers abt this) but the problem is he does not exhibit to them. we have noticed him not having eyecontact with complete strangers but to us or people who come to our home he plays well and talks to them(though his communication skills are less when compared to his peers) ask them to read books(he loves books but not fairy tales, but books with lots of facts and engineering things or vehicles) he used to count till 100. he doesnt express his feelings even to us.He is getting frustrated these days when we talk about his school proceedings or about him. Please guide me what he is? all my research work have led to terms autisim , gifted child .Though not having eyecontact and not socialising and at times repeats the sentence we speak indicates autisim, he is not like that with everyone. He listens to me and follows my instructions at home .But he is kind of stubborn guy who thinks very clear and sometimes we find it hard to manage him.Is he a gifted child? Can i change his behaviour/make him socialize with others,if then how? or else am i doing anything wrong in putting him inside frame called normalcy and curbing his exploring nature. or else does he really have any syndrome as i have mentioned almost all his weakness. I need some expert s guidance.please guide me what kind of education system i need to provide him.

1.if your child is finding difficulty to communicate and developing relations with others, might be 'autism'
2.ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) can do wonders
General & Family Physician Dr. Jitender Chauhan's  Response
Hello, welcome to HCM. Your child definitely needs little extra help. You must take your child to a Child Development Center where the doctors do complete evaluation of children with indifferent behaviour. In my view your child has symptoms of autism but needs to be evaluated clinically. There are many behavioural therapies which need to be instituted for his development which all can be described by your attending doctor. You might need the services of a speech therapist too. Wish your child good health.
