Do Low BP And Leg Numbness Indicate Panic Attacks?

my friend feels like he may be having a panic attack but his symptoms are strange...as if he had a contrast dye injected where he feels heat coursing through his body and then his leg gets temporarily paralyzed but his pulse and vitals are normal though his BP is low

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I can understand your concern. These symptoms can occur in severe anxiety or panic attacks but other neurological causes should be ruled out.

Sudden onset temporary paralysis of leg could occur in some seizure disorder too and this should be ruled out.

If there is clear cut relationship between onset of stress and the symptoms then most likely the cause is anxiety and panic attacks.

Thanks and Take care
