Do Flu Medications Cause White Spots In Mouth And Blisters On Palms?

My 60 year old husband has developed white spots in his mouth and blisters on the palms of his hands causing cracking and dry skin. He has congestive heart failure so takes many medications and we recently had the flu. Can these spots and blisters be related to that?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your husband experience of white spots in the mouth and blisters on the Palm with a history of congestive heart failure I am suggesting he is gradually developing a oral candidiasis with bacteria skin syndrome

In view of this please do the following test
Oral swab test
Wound swab for culture
Blood culture

Meanwhile please see a dermatologist specialist with the result and for further expect clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription

Moreover please start the following pending your appointment
Tablet antibiotic
Tablet antifungal
Tablet multivitamin

Regarding the flu I am very sure it is not related to the above symptoms

I hope this helps Regards
