Do Epidural Injections Cause Increased Cholesterol Levels And Muscle Spasms?
I had an epidural injection in my neck last week and my lower back three weeks ago. I have been getting muscle spasms in my hands, profuse sweating, and sharp pains across my shoulders and down my arms. I am also starting to get dull pains across the center of my lower back. Today, I was also informed that my blood work (last week) showed an increase level in cholesterol. I never had high cholesterol. Are all these symptoms the effects of the epidurals?

I really appreciate your concern, no these are not the symptoms due to epidural injection but this is the kind of diffuse pain may be muscular condition any NSAID could help in relieving the pain hope this information helps.
