Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello
thanks for posting
It usually takes 6-8 week for a compressed fracture to heal, during this period especially while standing/sitting support is required in form of taylor's brace to reduce pain and prevent bony protrusion at back.
She may start doing back extension/stretching exercises as the pain goes away under treating doctor/physiotherapist guidance.Rockbone C nasal spray has shown excellent result in my patient with spine fracture.
Hope this helps
Take care
