Do Combination Steroids Taken Together Cause Hair Loss?

In August I had a case of poison ivy and broke out in hives. I saw my dermatologist and he gave me a shot and RX for prednisone for 12 days. At the same time I was received steroid shots from a pain specialist. I had three shots. I am now having extreme hair loss. Could this be a side effect of these steroids taken at the same time. Hair loss started about a month ago.
