Lipitor (Atorvastatin) decrease uric acid level while clopidogrel (Plavix) increase uric acid level how ever atorvastatin significantly decrease uric acid. Hence the net effect is normal or decrease uric acid level. Joints pains, myopathies, tendon rupture, neuropathy... however it s incidence is very less than two percent. I would like to suggest that it is not due to these drugs as they are foremost important after surgery. It s the failure of surgical procedure or the venous graft quality that has led to failure of surgery. Repeat His Doppler ultrasongraphy of arterial system of lower limbs and then consult the operating surgeon. Hope it helps best. Take your best care. Don t forget to rate this answer.
