Difficulty In Bending And Straightening Knee, Swelling And Pain. What Is The Problem?

I fell twice straight down on the same knee. After the first time I got xrays and MRI done. Nothing serious found. I started physical therapy. I fell on it again just the other day. Stairs really bother me, I can't straighten or straighten bend all the way, hot to touch, swollen, painful. What is wrong with it?

Hello,
Thanks for writing to us
The swelling on the knee and difficulty in walking seems to be due to an injury to the internal structures of the knee like ligaments or meniscus. This needs a direct examination for diagnosis.
Hope this helps you. Let me know if you have any more concern.
Wishing you good health...
Regards.
