Difficult To Swallow, Cartilage Moves Left And Right. Is Cartilage Suppose To Move?

recently it has been a bit harder to swallow , so i feel my neck and i can push my cartilage (right where my adams apple is) from left to right and i can feel it move and snap back over, and its easier to swallow, if i push it back to the left its harder... i don t feel like this is supposed to happen. is my cartilage supposed to move like that?

Yes, it is normal.The thyroid cartilage does have some movement on pushing and is normal.

Do not push it more as it could lead to strain in the bands connecting to the adjacent structures.
