Diagnosed With Bronchiolitis, Finished Course Of Bisolvon Linctus, Berotec, Still Cough Worse. What To Do ?
Hi; my 9 month old was diagnosed with bronchiolitis 10 days ago, for which she has been on bisolvon linctus, berotec syrup and flixonase nose drops.It is now the second day after we finished her course of meds, and she has started coughing again at night while she sleeps mostly, and it sounds worse. Is it necessarily complicated? Will my GP know what to do or should I take her to her paed? Thank you.

As you stated in your query that even after medicines child ,still having horrible cough.
When she sleeps there is sound ( during breathing ,I think).
In my opinion your child have allergic bronchitis .
Anti histamine with bronchodilators will help.
Consult physician and get his opinion ( 2nd)
In my opinion antibiotics are not necessary .

.Hello.The most important is to know if cough that your baby have now is by upper respiratory tract disease or lower respiratory tract disease.
When the cough is by lower respiratory tract disease (for bronchitis or bronchiolitis) the baby has fatigue, sinking ribs and abdomen is used for breathing.
To treat bronchiolitis, inhalated bronchodilators -fenoterol for example-, using a camera to inhalation,is usually more effective that bronchodilators in syrup.
Go to your doctor as soon as possible to exploration and treatment.
