Diagnosed With MS. Took Painkiller For Severe Hamstring Strain. Have Sore, Reddish Tongue, Tastes Like Metal. Side Effect?

Thank you, I was diagnosed with MS almost 13 years ago, FYI, anyway dont think this symptom has anything to do with MS. I have had a sore, reddish tongue, and taste has changed like metal taste lately.. I fell almost 2 weeks ago and had severe hamstring strain on right leg, I was taking a pain (oxy/perco.) I have never taken that type of pain med before, so not sure if that may have a side effect of my symptoms? I finished the medicine for pain 4 days ago.My eating habits, etc.. has not changed, this may be a question for my dentist?

Hi, it appears to be due to the biting of the tongue due to the loose or misplaced teeth. Other causes could be due to the glossitis, due to the infection, or defeciency of the vitamin b complex. The metallic taste could be due to the oozing of the blood due to swelling of the tongue.
I advise you to consult an E.N.T. surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you .
