Hi Shuvra. Dark patches under the eye is actually not actually due to pigmenation. Multiple factors like thinning of skin, loss of volume in the area around the eye that exposes the orbital bone creating a hollow trough that appears as darkness around the eye, Stagnation/slow circulation, suffusion of blood, deoxygenation of blood, degradation of blood to blood pigment etc etc.

Melalite-XL anyways should not be used on the delicate skin of under eye dark circles. It can cause more atrophy and thinning of skin, irritation to the delicate skin of eye lid.

You should stop using melalite-XL. Instead i would advice that you consult a dermatologist who would prescribe you a cream that address all or at least some of the factors that i have mentioned above.

You should bear in mind that till date their is no cream that would give you 100% surety of improvement. Your doctor might change your cream if you don't notice expected improvement after a fair trial.

Take care
