Cracking Sound From The Head Due To Injury. Worried About Concussion

Hi doctor, today I was in a bit of a scuffle with another pupil but his cousin got me in a headlock, took me down and kicked me and me hitting my head on the pavement of someone's house, at the same time of hitting my head I heard and crack, I am worried about having a concussion or worse dying. Can you give me advice and tell me if I'm fit to run?

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi there ~

I understand your concern. I believe that you had concussions if you are not behaving the same way that you were doing in the past. I think that you will benefit from getting a CT or an MRI scan of your brain to determine if there is anything that might benefit from getting a surgeon to look at your imaging reports. I also think that you will be helped with getting to see a psychiatrist as soon as possible for any behavioral changes as a result of the scuffle. You may have broken your mandibular bone with the crack that you are suggesting. I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
