Could Tingling Sensation On Right Side Be Due To Pinched Nerve?

Hi, I have just started feeling a tingling on the right side of my thigh, very mild, not all of the time. It started when I slept on my right side but now it is happening when I sit or stand. Again very mild tingling. When I rub it or move around, it goes away. I don t know if it s a pinched nerve or because I am sedentary much of the day at work. Thoughts?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Tingling sensation along right side of thigh could be due to compression of nerve while sleeping.
The tingling sensation should disappear once the compression is relieved.
However, if the tingling is continuing, you need to consult an orthopaedician for clinical assessment and relevant investigations.
This tingling sensation could also be due to impingement of the nerve at the level of spinal cord.
An MRI may be required in that case.

Thanks and take care
