Could There Be Bleeding While Taking Noresteristone Tablets?
Hi doctor my daughter is taking noresteristone 5mg tablet for the last 3 weeks her last dose is going to be on Monday then she needs to take 16 days of break and then start the course again but she has started on her period today, I just want to check should she be bleeding when she still taking noresteristone tablets?

The bleeding can occur if the endometrium that is the uterine lining cannot be supported by the norethisterone given.
So the uterine lining starts to shed off as menses despite being on norethisterone.
Ask the doctor the reason why norethisterone was started as it may require to alter the dose.
