Could The Stinging Blister On My Stomach A Symptom Of Hernia?

A large blister has appeared on my stomach. There is stinging in my stomach around where the blister has appeared. Is this a possible hernia - I m seventy and tried to climb into the seat of a SUV car today and feel as if I may have ruptured something.

Hi,

I can understand your concern for the blister like appearing thing on the abdomen.

In term of your query if it is blister like in appearance then it might be simple insect bite hypersensitivity or a simple friction blister also. It is quite difficult to comment on your condition without personal examination and without complete history and exact site of the blister. But if it looks like a swelling then you must see a surgeon to examine you in person and then give you the best opinion.

In between - do not lift weight or do any heavy exercise. Do not pinch or pop or touch the area unnecessary.

Take care.
