Could The Non Itching Rashes Above The Armpits Be Due To Parasitic Infection?

I recently returned from a month long trip to Mexico, where I experienced a few days of diarreah. My friends, who also had gastro-intestinal issues, went to the doctor where they were treated for an amoebic parasite. One of the friends, developed skin rashes even after the diarreah had subsided and that s when she was given a blood test and found the amoeba. I discovered a non-itching rash above my armpits. Just wondering if this is common with parasites.
