Could Tenderness And Burning Sensation Be Normal Post Treatment For Urethritis?
Hi After receiving treatment for non specific urithritis (7 days ), I m still having occasionally some tenderness or a very small burning. Do you think this is normal? I would also like to stress that I m not having sex during these days , except some self play . My tests were all negative and when I saw the doctor , she advised me to go back to normal.
I think you may need to do an uroculture to check for possible bacteria causing an infection. If your penis is red and burning you may use anti-fungal ointment such clotrimazole ointment.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
