Hallow Dear,

At 5 weeks of pregnancy, the pregnancy test may not be reliable.

If after tubal ligation you have missed your period, you have to rule out pregnancy outside the uterine cavity; i.e. (Tubal) ectopic pregnancy.

Ectopic pregnancies do not grow and eventually cause rupture in the tube resulting in bleeding emergency. Such emergencies require surgical intervention with many units of blood transfusion.

You are having some amount of cramping with light pink bleeding. Please report to your Obstetrician to look for ectopic pregnancy.

I hope this helps you.
