Could Smoking Or Hypertension Cause Continual Bleeding From A Wound On Tongue?

My father is a smoker he is oozing blood frm past 3 days the day1he got a wound due to tongue cleaner bt he is medicated with amoxcylin capsule nd iodine solution for gargle bt the day 3 he got severe bleed along with sputum the color f blood is brownish nd he is hypertension patient dr. Telling its due to blood pressure plz give me proper reason

Continuous bleeding from mucosal wound have to evaluated further through complete blood coagulation profile to rule out clotting factor deficiency.Rapid control of blood pressure with esmolol is strongly needed in your case if associated accelerated hypertension is found.Quit smoking and consult your emergency physician at the earliest.
