Could Small Bumps On Either Side Of Vagina Be Bartholin Cysts?
Hello , I have recently experienced having two bartholin cyst on both sides of my vagina . First with the right side , and once it went away the left side . The left one busted through a series of sitz baths . While the right one just decreased in size until gone . I saved earlier this week to find two little bumps , one is the size of a pea an the other is fairly small . They do not hurt , but I wanted to know what they could be . Is it another cyst forming ?
It is possible that the bumps you are feeling are Bartholin cysts. You can send a picture of them to me for a more specific opinion. Bartholin cysts can recur, so it is not uncommon to develop new ones after having one resolved. It is important to have a healthcare provider examine the bumps to confirm the diagnosis and provide appropriate treatment if necessary.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
