Could Slight Asymmetric Elevation Of Right Hemidiaphragm Cause Pain In Right Quadrant?

I have been having a pain in my right quadrant for the last month. I have had all types of test run including a ct scan with/without contrast. The results show slight asymmetric elevation of the right hemidiaphragm. I am wondering if this could be causing the pain

Hi there. I am here to assist you. I welcome u with thanks for trusting the physicians here at HCM. In my expert opinion its not the slight upward deviation of Right hemidiaphragm thats the main issue. The problem is whats causing this shift of diaphragm. May be its your liver thats impinging on the diaphragm from below. So consult ur physician for liver profiles to be taken into account. May be some kind of fibrosis in the pulls the diaphragm upwards. But as y said ur CT shows nothing. So thats unlikely.
Acid peptic disease is anothe issue to be ruled out. Consult your physician for that too. Excessive acid secretion causes stomach to hurt. Gastric and duodenal ulcers are also a cause of pain in dis area.
