My head is throbbing and i feel pressure on the sides of my head, my eyes feel achey and sore when i move them, my throat is sore, and my face feels over heated and warm to the touch, I also feel weak and sometimes nauseous...is this a sinus infection? I have felt like this for over a week now.

Hi! Welcome to Health Care Magic.

A headache is usually caused by dilatation of the blood vessels in the head. A headache ca also be seen with a viral infection.

Some symptoms of a viral infection include headaches, runny nose, weakness, and fever. These symptoms can also be seen in a sinus infection. Some people may also notice nausea.

Usually, these symptoms are caused by a viral or bacterial infection.

Here are a few things one can try:
1. Drink lots of water
2. Sleep more than 8 hours a day
3. Take warm showers
4. Use a humidifier to clear the nasal sinuses
5. Gargle with warm salt water
6. Taking over the counter painkillers or antihistaminics like Paracetamol or Cetirizine

In case the symptoms persist, it would be a good idea to get checked out.

I hope this helps. Please reach out anytime you have any questions.
